By default, Google Chrome blocks pop-ups from automatically showing up on your screen. When a pop-up is blocked, the address bar will be marked Pop-up blocked. Chrome Blocker icon  You can also decide to allow pop-ups.

  1. Click the Chrome menu (top right) Chrome menuon the browser toolbar. 
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. in the Privacy section, click the Content settings button.
  5. In the Pop-ups section, select Allow all sites to show pop-ups. Customize permissions for specific websites by clicking Manage exceptions.

 Chrome settings: Under Content settings, select "Pop-ups and redirects" to allow or unallow this feature.

IE/Edge support

  1. To turn Pop-up Blocker on or off.
  2. Open Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, and then select Internet options.
  3. On the Privacy tab, under Pop-up Blocker, select or clear the Turn on Pop-up Blocker check box, and then select OK.


IE settings: Under Tools, select "Pop-up Blocker to turn on or off this feature.

Firefox support

  1. Click the menu button Firefox Menu icon and choose Preferences.  
  2. Select the Privacy & Security.
  3. Under the Permissions section, check the box next to Block pop-up windows to enable the pop-up blocker or uncheck the box to disable the blocker altogether.

Firefox settings: Under "Permissions", select "Block pop-up windows" to enable or disable the feature.


Apple Safari icon


Safari support

  1. Select Safari > Preferences.
  2. Click on Security at the top of the window.
  3. Check the box Blockpop-up windows to enable this feature. Uncheck it to disable.

Safari Security setting: Under "Web content", select "Block pop-up windows" to enable or disable the feature.
